Grapefruit Seed Extract or Gse -Nature Knows Best
Throw away that bleach or any other household germ killer that is a carcinogen (cancer producing). Instead, consider using GSE, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial compound that is antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and antiparasitic. Too good to be true? Not really considering the incredible powers and use for this compound synthesized from the seeds and pulp of certified organically grown grapefruit. The manufacturing process converts grapefruit bioflavonoids into an extremely potent compound that has been proven highly effective in numerous applications. GSE is marketed as CITRICIDAL®, the professional strength concentrate and NutriBiotic®, the consumer-grade, 1/3 the potency of Citricidal) liquid. It is manufactured by bio/chem. Research, Inc. out of Lakeport, California.
Not only is GSE great for household use such as a wash for fruits, vegetables, meat and poultry but also for cleaning cutting boards, countertops, dental rinse, throat gargle, ear rinse and as an all purpose cleaner. It is good and safe for both humans and animals. In test results, GSE proved to be ten to 100 times more effective than other agents (including chlorine bleach solution) tested against the organisms (Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, Candida albicans, Streptococcus faecium and E. coli.) used in the study.
As an all-purpose cleaner, add 60 drops of NutriBiotic® to any 32 oz. pump sprayer filled with water. If you want a little fragrance, add 8 drops of a good essential oil. I like to use lavender, thieves, lemon or peppermint. For skin fungi, parasites, or bacterial diseases of the skin you can mix 30-50 drops of liquid CITRICIDAL® extract in a quart of water, and spray on the infected area. The same dilution can be used as a general antiseptic for crates or other contact areas. You can also add GSE to shampoo. GSE is also beneficial for gastrointestinal disorders and can be used in food, water, or by topical application.
GSE has many uses, is safe, biodegradable, and safe for the environment and does not produce the negative side-effects associated with antibiotic use.
